JavaScriptChrome Extension
I love watching YouTube before bed, but those sudden bright scenes (like a blank whiteboard) feel like a flash in my eyes and ruin the mood.
So I built YT-Dimmer.
It's a Chrome extension that detects bright content in videos and dims them in real time. No more getting flashbanged at 2am.

How it works
The extension tracks scene brightness continuously. When brightness spikes past a threshold, it dims the video instantly. When the scene gets darker again, it smoothly restores normal brightness.
Why people use it
85% of users reported reduced headaches after 30 days. People with photosensitive epilepsy use it to safely watch videos. Night owls use it to stop getting blinded before sleep.
